Hands down, best loaded potato in town. If you're expecting a potato cracked open with some stuff inside, you're wrong. One of their loaded potatoes is easily two meals and they LOAD it. No joke.
I've been eating Rubicon since I was a little boy when it was located by Tulsa Central High School. I have known the family that owns and operates it for almost my entire life and they have always produced a quality food experience. The baked potato's are a staple in town and they are the spot you must visit when you come to Tulsa. I usually get a hotline potato but today I'm trying the Shrimp Potato as I'm fasting from other proteins for a few weeks. It was exquisite and would highly recommend it for anyone who loves seafood. The wings and fries are always a hit too but you can never go wrong with a potato. The service is always fast and efficient and sometimes a wait if it's crazy busy but a great spot is going to be busy. The vibe is welcoming and chill when there is live music and on Thursdays they have what is called 'Rubicon Live' for the music lovers. If you have never been you should definitely visit.
I was visiting my father in Oklahoma and he took us there citing the various combinations they had for Bakes Potatoes. I ordered chicken, broccoli and bacon along with three cheese jt comes with. Unhealthy possibly but absolutely delicious
Omg this place is so amazing the shrimp potato is what I get everytime I go in there. I never been and when I went for the very first time. I have been going back. I drive 2hrs from Wewoka just to go get a baked potato from them. I'm so hooked
I've been eating Rubicon potatoes since 2007 when it was in 3rd and Peoria! I've had family member come in from up north and eat them and love those potatoes! A classic Tulsa staple!
